LOL Just as I thought, you have nothing, zilch, zippo, nada. It's all loud-mouthed fundamentalist bullcrap.

No comparisons, no examples, just hot air and wide-eyed fist pounding, equating to exactly..... NOTHING. Well done.

Ok you want some examples?

The 14 Characteristics of Fascism
by Lawrence Britt
Spring 2003

Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
Hardly needs to be stated but here:

Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights

Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause

Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

Rampant Sexism
The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

Controlled Mass Media
Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

Obsession with National Security
Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

Wait I'm being an idiot

Religion and Government are Intertwined

Corporate Power is Protected
The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

Labor Power is Suppressed
Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .

Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

Obsession with Crime and Punishment
Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

Fraudulent Elections
Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

Yep. Honestly, Pegasus loves to tell us all these horror stories about socialism and Bernie Sanders, but in reality Bernie is one of the strongest supporters of legitimate democracy that there is. He's the only one who supports absolute voting rights, for instance.
Well the super delicates are messed up and Bernie knows he is going to get screwed again, but absolute democracy is even worse.

And this right here is a product of the ANC 30% pass generation

History, oh yeah plenty of stuff happened in history:thumbsup: You made it sound like it is happening today.

You said: "Ok drama llama, the only ones burning down churches in the USA are the KKK"

That is present tense not past tense, so again, do you have proof that the KKK are burning down churches today or are you referring to the past, in which case your comment is meaningless. I have zero love for the KKK, think they're a bunch of inbred hicks but you can't just make stuff up.

Ok, I know you put a lot of effort into that post and I appreciate that, but most of that is a bunch of hyperbole.

It's complete hysteria made to look like something.

You basically posted a bunch of things Trump, and incorrectly linked it to fascism.

For instance nationalism was THE POLICY of the US before WWII, they were a nationalist country for ever. They looked after themselves, but no one called them fascists for that. It's just lunacy to link nationalism with fascism. I'm a nationalist, of course you put your country and it's people first, just like you would put your family first above your neighbour.

Forgive me, but you're like a child who's parents (the voting population of the US) has told the child that he needs to go to bed (that Trump won the election) and you are throwing a hissy fit and call your parents all sorts of names (Trump is a fascist).

Seriously man, you need to grow up and realise that Trump is crass and defiant, yes, but he is in no way a frikken fascist, quasi-fascist or fascist-lite. He's just a right-leaning nationalist. You need to come to terms with it otherwise (if he wins again) you will still be desperately digging up little 'facts' to show how bad Trump is in 2024.

But the FACT will remain that America won't have changed one iota; no one will be imprisoned for thought crimes; no one will forceably have their land taken; no one will be forced to bow to the state; the military won't be on the streets; Trump won't be dictating (not voicing an opinion ) what the arts and entertainment should be producing; late night comedy hosts will still be making fun of Trump (how does THAT take place under a fascist president ); religion and state will still be separate; the constitution will remain unchanged, etc., etc.

Do you get my point? Fascism changes a country; so far 4 years of Trump has changed nothing; rights remain and people can criticise and make fun of the president. 8 years of Trump and it will be the same.

Fascism.... nah man, you're not only drinking the kool-aid, you've downed the entire keg.

It isn't hyperbolic. When Trump constantly attacks the press for reporting out his corruption, that's fascist. When he attacks Mexicans and Muslims, it's fascist. When he tears down the independence of governing bodies like the DOJ, it's fascist. When he holds rallies and leads chants to lock up his political opponents without any evidence of criminal activity, it's fascist. Every single action he takes has a fascistic nature. The only thing holding him back is that separation of powers are hard-coded in the US constitution and it's not so easy for him to bypass it. But he's trying his damnedest, every day.

This can’t be true, we know how honest the DNC is.
They are always fighting for free and fair elections.

Hopefully snopes or cnn can fact-check this.

You're being willfully obtuse and semantic. You know what I meant. So now either stop or continue deflecting the focus away from Pegasus' ridiculously overdramatic pearl-clutching histrionic statement. Or is he allowed to make stuff up and only I'm not? Up to you.

How many fascists advocated for the citizens to have the right to own firearms?

Ruth said she’s going to outlive the Trump admin, so quit panicking now.

Total exaggeration and hysteria on your part.

He can say what he likes. For instance - he doesn't like the leftist press that attack him on a constant basis. So what?!!!

Again, he can SAY what he likes, when his talk turns to some kind of dictatorial ACTION, then we can agree that he has turned a corner, and I will join you in condemning him. Until then it is just talk and nothing else.

EVERY fascist state changed the country for the worse through totalitarian actions. Trump hasn't even come close to anything like that. You are blowing hot air.

Boiled frogs dude, boiled frogs.

4 years in and still no fascist state  or ANY fascist powers he's given himself through Executive Orders or otherwise

Trump must be the worst dictator in history!

Or he's playing the long game, yeah that's it, he has a crystal ball or soothsayer and has seen the future, and he KNOWS he wins the next election and THAT'S when he will put his evil totalitarian plan into effect. That's it! Down with evil fascist Trump and his future fascist powers!

Once again, he is simply restrained by the rule of law and the constitutional separation of powers. I haven't said that America is a fascist state, just that Trump by his nature is fascistic. And he will push that as far as he possibly can, and there's no indication that he will ever be willing to be constrained by anything. When has he ever respected the rule of law, as it relates to limiting his own powers? Answer: never.
