What I got is the actual deaths each country had measured on a per capita basis. You know comparing apples with apples. Posted above.
Yeah boet, even with that stat USA is like in the top five/ten of the worst. You realize that ALL the countries at the top of that list is doing a bad job?
You realize that saying USA is doing a bad job is not the same as saying everyone else is doing a good job?

You're trying to frame this that only the country with the absolute top deaths per capita is the only one doing a bad job. This is irrational. They are ALL doing a bad job, USA included.

This thread is about USA so go figure.

State Department officials involved in the dinners said they had raised concerns internally that the events were essentially using federal resources to cultivate a donor and supporter base for Pompeo's political ambitions — complete with extensive contact information that gets sent back to Susan Pompeo's personal email address. The officials and others who attended discussed the dinners on condition of anonymity.

An NBC News investigation found that Pompeo held about two dozen Madison Dinners since he took over in 2018. NBC News obtained a master guest list for every dinner through the end of 2019, as well as internal State Department calendars from before the pandemic emerged, showing that future dinners were on the books through at least October. The master list includes the names of nearly 500 invitees and specifies who accepted, although it is possible some people RSVP'd but didn't show up in Foggy Bottom for dinner.

The records show that about 29 percent of the invitees came from the corporate world, while about a quarter of them hailed from the media or entertainment industries, with conservative media members heavily represented. About 30 percent work in politics or government, and just 14 percent were diplomats or foreign officials. Every single member of the House or the Senate who has been invited is a Republican.

In her job as a Geographic Information Systems manager, Jones created a widely praised interactive coronavirus dashboard for Florida, which tracked the pandemic in real time. However, she told CBS12 News this week, she was removed from her position after being ordered to “manually change data to drum up support for the plan to reopen.” On Monday, she said, the Department of Health offered her the option in a settlement to resign effective next week instead of being fired.

Frank survived two heart attacks but he didn't survive the coronavirus. He was the first ER doctor in the US to die from the virus... 12 Days before his death he told friends there weren't enough tests, and that he was wearing his mask for the fourth day in a row.

His husband was with him when he died on March 31st.

Comparing deaths of different countries on a per capita basis is the statistically correct thing to do. It has nothing to do with deflecting or Trump. Don't bring your TDS into it.

Per capita is a meaningless stat for tracking a virus outbreak. Viruses don't spread uniformly through populations, they spread depending on how people behave/react to it.

The only relevance population size has is it represents an absolute ceiling for infections/deaths.
