A large majority report that peaceful demonstrations are an appropriate response to Floyd’s death, but a majority do not support violent protests and unrest as a response to the killing of an unarmed man.

I think this is the key part in that pole survey.

I would be one of those that would strongly support a peaceful protest and strongly do not support violent protests with regards to George Floyd. Unfortunately a lot of the protest action has moved from actual protesting to rioting under the guise of "protest action".

It is going to be difficult for the cops to come back from this and to get the "protests" under control as some "protestors" have realized they can get free stuff with their "protest actions"

In case you haven't been keeping score, the protests have shifted into two distinct sets.

Huge, peaceful daytime protests and the anarchist/black blok/proud boy after dark s**t.

The huge, peaceful daytime protests are still getting gassed...

Does the kool aid shop have one for ascertaining how many people support their businesses being destroyed by looters, or for people being assaulted by looters?

I have seen a lot of video footage of shops being looted during daylight though, so I would not call that peaceful

Good guy.

The desegregation programs in the US schools were really stupid, especially how it was implemented.
Also building low cost public housing in more affluent neighborhoods is also stupid.

Seems like I agree with him on the two first main objections of him.

It's ridiculous that even wikipedia is bias.

I am confused now, you said there had been a shift.

Huge PEACEFUL demonstrations during the day and anarchy at night.

Which I counterclaimed that I have seen videos of shops being looted during the day (which argues against your claim that they are peaceful during the day)

And then your next comment is that you never said they weren't?

What do you mean by "never said they weren't"

And also I am not sure why you need to get such an arrogant undertone to your comments when people are just voicing an opinion. I do not side with the left or the right it is just my view point on the situation

Any offense is taken, it wasn’t given.

I never said there hadn’t been daylight looting, I said there has been a shift in the nature of the protests.

Organizers are arranging protests earlier in the day. They want peaceful marches.

Liz Warren was at the WH one yesterday. She wasn’t rioting.

Have a look at that pic I posted yesterday.

That same thing happened in NY, in Huston, all around the country... and all around the world for that matter.
