Why Trump calls coronavirus, the Chinese virus

It is to deflect attention from his incompetent early management of the crisis. Trump knows that calling coronavirus the Chinese virus, will get people worked up. He'll rather have people talk about his use of the term Chinese virus, than about how he called coronavirus a hoax and claimed that everything was under control back in February.

We've been through this multiple times. He never called the virus a hoax, he said dems are making it their new hoax like mah russia, mah ukraine, mah impeach, now its mah covid 19, anything to beat the orangemanbad drum. As posted before, even places like snopes and politifact haven't been able to spin it into fact.

Well, kind of... he was using the word 'hoax' to diminish the seriousness of the virus.

IOW he was saying Dems attacking me for not treating Coronavirus with any seriousness are just trying to create a new hoax against me but actually it's all under control and there's nothing to worry about.

It's looking like a number that's a lot less than what we originally thought. (uhm, your original number was zero , how does it get less than that ? )
