I think gathering in large groups is stupid. But nevertheless what they want is correct.
I don't think it is a reasonable policy to force people to stay at home and turn them into government dependants. Leftists love it because when people are dependant on the government, they vote for more leftist governments.

Especially if you see the "support" the government has been providing. Louis Rossman's channel has been documenting this very well.

You know it is really easy to say that everyone should be locked down when you are still getting your full salary. These stupid peasants should simply stay at home and wait for the government to help them. They shouldn't take responsibility for their own lives. They must live off the backs of other people like everyone on welfare.

If the government actually got out of the healthcare insurance, this is what would have happened as a result of the risk. Insurance premiums for people who can stay at home for their work would have decreased, whilst premiums for people who go to work will have to pay more of a premium because they represent a higher risk. But they cannot do that because your boy Obama made it illegal for health insurance to base healthcare premiums on risk.

I have lower premiums on my car at the moment because the risk that I have of crashing the thing has dropped significantly.

And healthcare workers are fully within their right to decline care to patients if they don't want to expose getting infected. Heck they are free to demand that all their patients create a work permit. What they don't have the right to do, is to prevent other healthcare workers from treating someone who is willing to pay for it. Which is what you are wanting them to do with your work permit.

The government closes down people's only source of income, then clever leftists like you claim they are being hypocritical by wanting the state to bail them out, only to again be criticised when they don't want the government to help them by protesting.
