Hi

I have a US Id since when we received the first iPhone here, so it is old and I have a lot of apps bought. So changing apple id's are not an option at this stage, and iStore don't want me to change regions as long as I still have a active balance on my account.

Up until now I have just used vouchers from evopoints or whoever has the cheapest online.
So I thought it would be easy enough to just use my paypal but obviously they require a Credit card that is in the US.

Is there an easy way to use paypal or similar safe service that will just link directly to my Credit card, or where I can load up funds and use accordingly without paying for bloated voucher prices.

Not really. For most of the sites you need a US card, and even if you get a reloadable US prepaid card there are lots of fees attached to it when adding money and using it.

Even if you create a SA iTunes account you won't lose your US apps. You'll still be able to update them though it will mean changing between accounts.

Is there any implications on changing drom US - SA id.
In regards of loosing apps that is not available in SA.

Or is it not the case anymore that you will have apps in US but not in SA?

If there is no difference then I can just contact Apple support to either take my 0.26c off my account to change the region :)

Just use a secondary SA account.

Will you need to swap between id's if you want to use the apps or would they all work seamlessly on the device?

Is it just that you need to login with the different id if you need to do more updates or in app purchases?

They work just fine. It's only when you update the apps that you need to swap regions/apple IDs.

They all work fine seamlessly and even updates you only need to sign in for apps not available on our store.

Great benefit in switching to SA for your main account and using the US one as secondary. Especially if you want to use Family Sharing and such in future.

Also if you are using gmail you can just use an alias for the new account and have it delivered to the same mailbox.

Lol I see the same app is R30 more expensive on the SA store than the US store, so it actually comes down to, what is the advantage of having a SA account then?
