Anyone watching the latter stages of this years US Open?
Good to see Federer finding some of his old form and taking down Djokovic in four sets. Great display by Fed especially in the last couple of sets and this should give him enough confidence to go all the way.
In the 2nd semi between Murray and Nadal: Against all odds, Murray is up by two sets to love but trailing by a break in the third. The Scot should close it out when they resume later this evening, however, Rafa and his never die attitude should give Murray all he can handle.

The ladies final should be a good match as well. Probably Serena Williams will be a little too strong for Jankovic and should win without too many problems.

I think Nadal will still win it, or i hope so at least. Dont think Murray had ever taken a set off Rafa before and todays a new day & he's a break up already

Anyone know what time the mens final will be on Monday? All i know is:
10pm tonight - murray/nadal
3am tomorrow morn - womans final

Men's final is scheduled for around 11pm on Monday.

Murray has taken a couple sets off Nadal previously. That was in last year's Aussie Open. That time Nadal came back to win after being 2 sets to 1 down.

Federer's win over Murray (6-2 7-5 6-2) was relatively easy in the end. It leaves Fed needing one more Slam win to match the 14 held by Pete Sampras.

The tactics employed by Murray that worked so well against Nadal were not effective against Federer. Granted, Murray played much better against Nadal, however, the changes of pace and angles, mixing things up inc serve/volley, never bothered Fed that much.
Hopefully Fed can build on this win and finish the year off in style at the year-end Masters Cup in Shanghai.
