I would have disagreed with you outright a couple years back that psychology was a "worthless" degree.

That was until Jordan Peterson emerged. What a hack. Psuedo-babbling at its finest.

Now I see that sone psychologists, like Jordan are just filled with hot air.

I mean have you seen that comedy/fantasy novel of his called "Maps of Meaning". Wtf is that?

It's good that you admit you want conservative activists on the court, Chris. None of this "judges should be impartial actors that only apply the law" malarkey for you. :)

Doesn't every justice in that court lean either left or right? Presidents make their nominations to try shift the balance toward their side? I imagine Trump more than most would love a court which leans right given how the courts treated his executive orders at the start of his term. No way he rolls the dice on that once in a lifetime appointment.

It is hypocrisy (double standards) to pretend that it is wrong now that the other team is doing it, which they aren't really, Kavanaugh is rather central or neutral. OD would love someone in there who is a complete SJW and makes it mandatory for all women to have at least two abortions.

And it's just as clear that his defenders don't care about due process or innocent until proven guilty, either, given how they're fully supportive of the "lock her up" campaign. :)

After hearing both testimonies, I cannot say I am surprised. I found Ford credible, but disingenuous. Her almost forced tears spoke for themselves as to her motives. I was not the only one who saw it, but it is not appropriate to comment on her behaviour as for some reason as it was exempt from critical analysis. There are major questions that were left unanswered, and the scrubbing of her past is circumspect. If she wanted an impartial hearing, justice and truth she should have gone to the relevant authorities, and referred the Democrats to the case. The Democrats orchestrated all of this, down to an actress being present (really, WTF?) at the hearings who was always present in Kavanaugh's shots while he gave testimony. They even made a referral to Ford's attorneys, and helped raised funds for this sham. Ford holds multiple degrees and has acted as a HOD. She knew full well what she is doing. She made it a partisan issue. In addition to that, witnesses have denied all knowledge of the party. Even Ford's best friend has said that she never knew Brett and denied she EVER attended a party with him. I am still waiting for a list of the so called witnesses some have alluded to. Stating that you heard of some rumours is not witness testimony, it is hearsay. Many allegations that were raised were countered with credible written testimonies by Kavanaugh's college friends and his colleagues. The Democrats sat on these allegations for 6 weeks and kept bringing up why an FBI investigation has not been requested. Nice political ploy there. We saw through all of it. Kavanaugh is supposedly the Cosby of Washington. In his entire career, he has not had anyone make any accusations against him. Are the actions of a rapist? No one here can tell me how a man who has vague allegations thrown against him would defend themselves of such charges. This is why due process has a place, and why things should not be played out in the media. Trying to think anyone is unbaised at this point is complete and utter foolery. Myself included.

It's a god damn circus that these political elite are playing with each other. I watch this, and how Hollywood and everyone has rallied around Ford and see real victims who tried to get justice as children but were ignored go silently on with their lives while this unfolds. Where are their funds to get justice or their videos of support? Hypocrites the whole lot of them. It is not about the victims. It is about the power behind such allegations now.
