Gosh, I am still stuck on taking anything serious from the MSM (known for lying, bias and BS) claiming others are lying. The cognitive dissonance from those who do must be migraine worthy. GL.

But on Saturday afternoon, NBC News reported that the White House was limiting the scope of the probe to cover only Ford and Ramirez — not Julie Swetnick, the third woman to come forward with allegations of misconduct against Kavanaugh. “Instead of investigating Swetnick’s claims,” according to NBC, “the White House counsel’s office has given the FBI a list of witnesses they are permitted to interview, according to several people who discussed the parameters on the condition of anonymity.” NBC also reported that certain other areas of investigation would also be off limits. For instance, the agency cannot request employment records from a supermarket where key witness Mark Judge worked, which might help corroborate Ford’s account of running into him after her alleged assault. And it cannot look into discrepancies between Kavanaugh’s account of only drinking moderately in college and that of at least one classmate, who has said he was lying.

Yeah that's it, it has nothing to do with the fact that the investigation is merely a ruse for delay and killing off a candidate's prospects .....

If you actually believe anyone on that committee cares in the least about the alleged victims or that justice is served through a proper investigation I have a bridge to sell you. The fact that it all happened in the 11th hour and the fact that nobody even considers that an investigation can also happen after confirmation is proof enough of the their true motive.

How We Know Kavanaugh Is Lying

None of these names are the names Ford cites. Clearly she knows nothing about his summer. But wait: Let’s look at the entry for July 1st, one Kavanaugh did not cite in his list of “parties with people who are not the people Ford cited.” On July 1st, Kavanaugh planned to go “to Timmy’s for skis w/Judge, Tom, PJ, Bernie, Squi.” There’s Mark Judge! There’s P.J.! So he gathered for [brew]skis with 2 of the 3 people Ford says she remembers being there. Small gathering? Beer? Judge, Brett, and P.J.? Check, check, and check. So when Kavanaugh says none of the gatherings on the calendar include the people Ford says, and implies that Ford was just conjuring names of people he would never gather with, that’s false. In fact, she cited a small gathering with P.J. and Judge before he released his calendar confirming it.

Limits to FBI's Kavanaugh investigation have not changed, despite Trump's comments

The FBI has received no new instructions from the White House about how to proceed with its weeklong investigation of sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, a senior U.S. official and another source familiar with the matter tell NBC News.

According to the sources, the president’s Saturday night tweet saying he wants the FBI to interview whoever agents deem appropriate has not changed the limits imposed by the White House counsel’s office on the FBI investigation — including a specific witness list that does not include Julie Swetnick, who has accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct in high school.

Also not on the list, the sources say, are former classmates who have contradicted Kavanaugh’s account of his college alcohol consumption, instead describing him as a frequent, heavy drinker. The FBI is also not authorized to interview high school classmates who could shed light on what some people have called untruths in Kavanaugh’s Senate Judiciary Committee testimony about alleged sexual references in his high school yearbook.

Hell, these are their most profitable years... every time they put out a negative 'trump' anything, it gets shared and viewed millions of times, they're minting it... its in their interest to report garbage under things like 'a source' so every frothing leftist spams it anywhere and everywhere

I understand why you feel you have to discredit anything negative about Trump with a generic 'muh media' jab, including something that's been independently reported by at least 3 different publications, and where the vast majority of anonymously sourced reporting ended up being true, and despite Trump's long history of endless dishonesty, on issues big and small. But it's quite obvious why you're doing it.

Because a generic 'media sucks' claim isn't intended to actually identify a mistake in their reporting (which wouldn't really work, given the staggering amount of anonymously sourced reporting that is vindicated, day in, day out). It's to create a false equivalence that devalues any reporting that you perceive to be negative about Trump, regardless of accuracy.

Not to mention Trump's own hypocrisy on anonymous sources.

Ask yourself why you take a Trump tweet at face value, despite the sheer volume of lies he's told, including on Twitter, about anything and everything. Why do you think he's being honest there?
