MORE: IBD has an interesting editorial: "Did Hillary Clinton Direct Deep State's Trump Investigation?" The basic idea is straightforward: none of the FBI abuses and crimes would have occurred but for the Hillary Clinton campaign's involvement. The editorial goes into a fair amount of detail, but it is heavily based on the revelation by James Baker, general counsel of the FBI, that Baker received information relevant to the Carter Page FISA directly from the lawyer for the DNC and the Clinton campaign, who was paying Fusion GPS: Michael Sussman, of Perkins Coie. Baker accepted this information knowing where Sussman was coming from. (See "James Baker Identifies Another Source behind the FISA Application.") Bottom line: All of this, pre-election, was a Democrat operation. It happened; it was illegal and fraudulent.

Muh Russia!

Not any opportunity, just the top three atrocities of the day.

And none of it will mean anything in the next 12 to 24 months. But, you have to carry on with riding the outrage train of the current news cycle.

Just because there is such a torrential onslaught of corruption and terrible behavior from Trump and his cronies that it's become completely overwhelming and impossible to keep track of, doesn't mean that individually speaking, the behavior isn't still terrible and corrupt and shouldn't be called out.

Because you see monsters in every corner, does not mean that I do. Trump is a womanizer for sure, and may not be presidential like Obama, but he is a far better POTUS. I think you should really take a break from the news and maybe step away for a bit to see just how obsessed you are about it.

You are a smart guy. I really think that all this effort would be put to better use. Don't you?

Trump's more of an old school, brash, strong man type of leader. Similar to the Rooseveldts and Churchills of old and the Putins of our generation.

At times a nation needs exactly such a leader and all the presidential diplomacy in the world won't help you. Some people just don't want to make peace with the fact that such leaders are very necessary at times.

What on earth are you talking about? It's disgraceful that the President would praise someone for physically assaulting a reporter, but very much in keeping with his track record of encouraging violence and threats against the free press, much like his fascist buddies in Turkey and Philippines. If that's not a problem to you, go in peace.

Well, shame...

People who can body slam someone even more so a threat is my kind of people too :p

So let's just run down some of the things Trump's done over the last....oh, week.

1) Called Stormy Daniels "Horseface" on Twitter and bragged about being able to "go after" her and her "3rd rate lawyer", and claimed that she knows nothing about him.

2) Went against his own intelligence departments by firmly denying that the Saudi govt had anything to do with Khashoggi's disappearance, claiming it could have been 'rogue killers' and reiterating how much money they spent on arms.

3) Threatened to go to war over immigration and send troops to the border, and to quit NAFTA/USMCA.

4) Posts an op-ed in NYT full of easily demonstrable lies, where he claimed that Democrats want to "eviscerate Medicare" and blames Dems for trying to eliminate Medicare. Which... was exactly what he tried to do after a few months into office.

5) Held a bizarre interview with the AP in which the number of lies he managed to squeeze into 60 minutes of airtime was staggering, and where he outright denied the existence of climate change after the latest climate report; and stated that his mockery of Blasey-Ford doesn't matter because "we won".

6) Praised a politician for committing the crime of assaulting a reporter.

I dunno, maybe your gag reflex is just better suppressed than mine. But this stuff matters and has consequences for the lives of people in the US, like my family. I've seen my brother and my father transform into paranoid racist conspiracy theorists. I find it hard to turn away.

So just in one week he accomplished more than most presidents do in their entire term? Awesome.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Mifsud#Connection_to_George_Papadopoulos

In March 2016, shortly after Papadopoulos was named as a foreign policy advisor to the Trump campaign, Mifsud met Papadopoulos in Rome. They later met in London, where Mifsud allegedly introduced Papadopoulos to a Russian woman that he falsely claimed was Putin's niece; Mifsud has denied the report.[6][12] At a meeting in April, Mifsud told Papadopoulos that he had learned the Russians were in possession of thousands of emails that were damaging to Hillary Clinton. Papadopoulos repeated the information to an Australian diplomat in London, who later reported to American authorities that Papadopoulos had apparently known about Russia's theft of emails from Democratic sources before it was publicly reported. The FBI then launched an investigation into possible connections between Russia and the Trump campaign.[16]

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018...vidence-emerges-mifsuds-links-uk-intelligence

The photograph in question originated on Geodiplomatics.com, where it specified that Joseph Mifsud is indeed standing next to Claire Smith, who was attending a: “…Training program on International Security which was organised by Link Campus University and London Academy of Diplomacy.” The event is listed as taking place in October, 2012. This is highly significant for a number of reasons.
First, the training program Smith attended with high-ranking members of the Italian military was organized by the London Academy of Diplomacy, where Joseph Mifsud served as Director, as noted by The Washington Post. That Claire Smith was training military and law enforcement officials alongside Mifsud in 2012 during her tenure as a member of the UK Cabinet Office Security Vetting Appeals Panel, which oversees the vetting process for UK intelligence placement, strongly suggests that Mifsud has been incorrectly characterized as a Russian intelligence asset. It is extremely unlikely that Claire Smith’s role in vetting UK intelligence personnel would lead to her accidentally working with a Russian agent.

The connection between Mifsud and Smith does not end at bumped elbows in a photograph. Mifsud’s LinkedIn profile lists the University of Stirling as a place of occupation in connection with his service as Director of the London Academy of Diplomacy (LAD), where Claire Smith served as a visiting professor from 2013-2014 according to her LinkedIn profile. This adds yet another verifiable connection between a man who is at the center of already-flimsy Trump-Russia allegations and a high-ranking British intelligence figure.

Etc. etc.

The code name “Crossfire Hurricane” is therefore most likely a reference to the former British spy whose allegedly Russian-sourced reports on the Trump team’s alleged ties to Russia were used as evidence to secure a Foreign Intelligence Service Act secret warrant on Trump adviser Carter Page in October 2016: ex-MI6 agent Christopher Steele.

http://thefederalist.com/2018/05/25/code-name-crossfire-hurricane-evidence-fbis-russia-cover-story/

So basically all the evidence in favour of a Russia collusion narrative shows that the Dems were colluding with the Brits and the Russians to spike Trump's election...

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...ein-wall-street-journal-interview-republicans

Some congressional Republicans are furious with the deputy attorney general, Rod Rosenstein, for giving a wide-ranging interview to the Wall Street Journal , while he reportedly ducks on-the-record questioning from legislators.
Now how come Rosenstein is ducking congress if he's got nothing to hide?

Oh look, Xarog is back. I was actually impressed when you left, "never to return". I guess you are not a man of your word, after all.
I guess you weren't paying attention the first time I called it off. Last I checked, you didn't have a magic wand to stop me from changing my mind. But feel free to direct your impotent rage at me as you wish, I could use the entertainment. :sneaky:

I don't know them from adam... but going by the current leftist outrage and 'ist' labeling in the collective of anyone who disagrees with them, I'm going to assume that they aren't as you say, racist conspiracy theorists, they just have a different opinion to you;)
