This kind of worries me.

My Real Politik is not up to snuff - does anyone have any thoughts on it?
The US decision to walk away from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty has significant consequences for the future of arms control, for perceptions of the US and its approach to the world - but also for strategic competition between both the US and Russia on one hand, and Washington and Beijing on the other.

You're dissembling. Using your own apparent conclusion to buttress your opinion that had no citation is a pointless exercise.

And you are changing the focus of the argument, regardless of whether he meant libtards to mean everyone or libtards to mean a subset of liberals, it's a pointless and vague statement that, in the absence of some sort of evidence, can only ever be regarded as an opinion

Firstly, thank you for posting an intelligible question that can be answered.

Do you think Trump's response is warranted? Is there any evidence that there are Middle Eastern criminals in their numbers? If so, there should absolutely be military action taken to prevent them from entering the country. If not, I'd suggest that it's maybe not the crisis that Trump is hyping it up to be.

From all available evidence, it looks like a group of fairly benign mostly Honduran and Mexican immigrants. I think they should be processed and treated like any other would-be immigrant. I can't see anything to suggest that they pose an existential threat to Americans but it's certainly a humanitarian crisis.

An assault on your border by 2000+ people? You say, they should be handled like immigrants?

They should be treated as enemies of the state and shot at the border! This will create a precedent and more and more of this will happen. It's an invasion, not a migration...

I'm not changing the focus of the argument at all.

The only thing that you have been doing here is to play tone policeman. You don't make substantive claims, you merely criticise other posters for being "mean", while in the process making uncharitable interpretations of their statements that don't actually resemble what they really said, nevermind the fact that they're actually making substantive points with their mean points.

And you aren't willing to even play by the rules you set out for others, so you're acting like a hypocrite now. So can I ask you, what is it you are actually trying to achieve here?

So, you're in favor of mowing down 2000+ unarmed people with women and children to set a precedent? That's... very fascist.

They have a choice not to cross or attempt to cross a border illegally. You warn them, they don't listen you mow them down till they listen.

No I criticized them for being trolls, that is not the same as being "mean".. I really don't mind tone, just that random childish insults do not add to the conversation so am really not sure how calling someone "NPC" without any explanation is making a substantive point. I dislike the term libtard because it it seems like a bad joke that has run it's course and was never really that funny or clever to begin with.

If they queued up peacefully at the border and applied for asylum through the propert channels and didn't enter the country illegally, then you would be correct.

That is unlikely to happen through, they will most likely try to swarm the border post. And they will most likely follow the Palestinian model and use their woman and children as human shields.

You're out of your gourd. You'll create one of the greatest massacres of unarmed civilians in history.
