It is actually pretty interesting to see what is going on with the opposition. For example, her interview caused a bit of a fallout on both sides.

But it got lost in the Trump/anti-Trump circle jerk, just like a lot of things OD posts that are not directly related to Trump. It isn't doing anyone any favours.

It got lost because it wasn't clear what your point was in posting it. Were you being sarcastic when you said "espouse economic wisdom"? I guess so, but what to say about that? I don't think she was correct either - the main problem with touting low unemployment rates is that they don't factor in stagnant/depreciating wages or job quality.

OD's posts are related to US politics, which is the point of this thread. We can't have a whole subforum for each type of US news.

Or what about the 'poster girl of the Democrat party' comment. Most established Democrats supported her opponent. Now to konfab that means she's the poster girl for the party.

I wasn't complaining about OD's posts, I was complaining that they got lost in the circle jerk.

We don't need a separate subforum. Trump already has a thread, and once you relegate all the "conservatard" posts that Randhir makes to it, this thread becomes a much more interesting place.

Interesting? Mildly, I guess. This thread is mostly a reflection of the day's news from the US - which usually revolves around Trump. I wish it wasn't the case, but it is. I think many of us feel that if we aren't vigilant about the ways that Trump undermines the democratic values of the US, it allows him to get away with normalizing some truly hideous behavior.

Its funny because on a retarded scale of 1 to Trump, where 1 is mildly retarded and the Trump rating is, well self explanatory, Cortez unemployment comments probably sits at around 5. Yet this triggers conservatives far more than anything Trump rated that Trump himself has said repeatedly.
