Actually that's what his followers / fans have interpreted, not what he / she / they said. All he / she / they said was "red October" repeatedly.

At least someone from the "other side" is also staying a bit informed I see.

Believers:
A group / person with high level security clearance leaking bits of information to the public to keep them informed of how Trump really is draining the swamp. Posts available in various places including qanon.pub

Critics:
A master troll taking the piss with idiot conspiracy theorists from the right.

I would anticipate for the arrests to begin in early November like the first clues suggested, personally.

Some reading but beware - this rabbit hole goes deep.

It's basically a series of posts that began on 4Chan by an anonymous user who claimed to have Q level security clearance - IOW, they were close enough to the president to know his real strategy. Every time 45 does something, or there's some new development e.g. in the Russiagate story, Q tells everyone that it's part of 45's grand scheme to take down a high level criminal and pedophile network involving inter alia Hillary Clinton, George Soros, Comey, Tom Hanks, and Mueller.

Q has survived multiple takedown attempts and I guess it's more popular than ever, with some celebrity followers including Roseanne Barr and Curt Schilling; not to mention local forumites like Xarog, rietrot, and apparently NBFTW. They have rallies and marches and t-shirts and all kinds going on now.

Here's an example of a QAnon post:

You know enough to have needed to do some research is what I meant, which is the same as me. So if I'm a follower so are you :p

I'm very much staying informed and staying open minded, without committing to any specific truth at this point in time. Same approach to religion; not religious but open to being proven wrong someday.

So I don't identify as a "follower", but I check what's being said from time to time.

I have been following Q since it started. I don't go as deep as the chans. Monitor a few key twitter accounts

It is honestly the best insight I have ever had on the fascinating minds of conspiracy theorists. How they explain away contradictions, how they explain away the continual delays and disappointments is something to behold.

I have a fascination with how people see the world and perceive and interpret it differently. The Q theories have exposed this in ways that the 9-11, JFK, Moon Landing and holocaust conspiracies have never done so.

I follow it, but believe 100% it is a 4chan prank that grew incredible legs with the boomer generation in the USA and since there was ways to profit from it, it kept going.

Lol, it's not really reasonable to compare the Q phenomenon to your garden variety conspiracy theorist because in this case there really is someone that is feeding specific information that counts as clues to be deciphered. Obviously there will be a lot of course correction as time marches on.

You speak of continual disappointments, but did you ever once think of going back and checking out what Q's predictions were regarding who was involved in the whole Russia smear against Trump and who wasn't? Q's predictions appear to be growing more prophetic by the day as the news cycle marches on. And isn't it convenient that Trump set the whole ball rolling with his FISA declassification demand at just the right time to make sure the scandal hits just before the midterms? :p

But ya, I think if the midterms come and go and the brown stuff doesn't hit the fan in a big way, then it will be proven that Q is a larp. But in that case, hey, what a troll, I enjoyed it thoroughly, and I actually learned a hell of a lot on the way, too.

QED, Xarog's resurgence in this thread, his faith undiminished by the fact that not one single prediction he made ever came even remotely close to materializing, and still assiduously believing that November is going to be the month Q gets vindicated.

Basically it provides an outlet for Trump's fans to cope with the incredible cognitive strain of believing that someone so monumentally stupid and crass could really be their great leader.

Trump has forever changed the way the GOP operates. Just look at Thug Life Lindsey Graham if you needed any confirmation.

How do you figure someone so "stupid and crass" keeps winning when everyone thinks he's holding onto a losing ticket?? :ROFL:

I actually can't dispute any of that, but it's still completely unrelated to Q. Kavanaugh's confirmation was pure GOP thuggishness at work; no 4d chess or weaponized autism to be seen.

So you mean it is true that Trump refused to back down in the face of multiple Saul Alinsky style smears being perpetrated against Kavanaugh when everyone else would have folded.

So in fact, Trump is actually capable of delivering the leadership his base so desperately wants of him.

Which means that there's no "cognitive strain". Nobody needs to believe in Q to justify the claim that Trump is amazing leadership material.

As an aside, the latest series of Serial podcast is brilliant. It looks into the judicial reform system in the US. Best season so far.
