US withdraws from JETP

A $9.3-billion (R168.7 billion) climate deal rich nations struck with South Africa to help it transition to clean forms of energy will forge ahead despite the withdrawal of the US, with other partners remaining committed to it, the UK’s climate envoy said.

The US had planned to contribute about $1 billion in commercial loans to the Just Energy Transition Partnership, or JETP, and $56 million in grant funding, which was agreed during President Joe Biden’s tenure.

Cadres would have just stolen it. Good on the US. They should use it on their own people.
Bwahahaha. You clearly don't know that the orange one was convicted on felony fraud just before the elections. He's more corrupt than Jacob Zuma and the Gupta brothers put together.

So what was the charges specifically & the crime/s. Clearly you don't understand US law or New York law. You only a convicted felon if you served time, or community service, of which he did neither. All has been appealed, as there were no evidence. Jacob Zuma is a convicted felon, as he did go to jail, for a brief period, before having a bogus medical issue. Big difference.

Why do some think this affects the ANC? Deluded! Whatever the US won't do China will gladly step in and polyfill.

Zuma's case of not appearing at a kangaroo court driven by ulterior motives does not count as a felony charge, well in most of our eyes hence close to 15% of the masses voted for him. We understand politics, you cannot convince us otherwise

The Orange one was found guilty of 34 counts of Class E felony falsification of business records in the first degree on 30 May 2024. The felony “kicker” crime that Trump allegedly tried to cover up through falsifying business records is election interference under New York law. That law says that it’s a crime to use unlawful means to attempt to sway an election.

Trump was let off with something called “unconditional discharge,” which means no custody, no financial penalty, and no probation or supervision. He can appeal the conviction and maybe the sentence, but he's still a CONVICTED FELON (and adjudicated rapist).

Your claim of no evidence is utter BS as the jury found him guilty after seeing his CFO' written instructions on how payments to Michael Cohen was going to be split. Michael Cohen (Donny's fixer/lawyer and on whose behalf the cover up was done) was convicted of the same crimes and based on the same evidence.

It's YOU who clearly don't understand the law and are just parroting Orange Donny.

When you struggle to pay a bill, or feel discouraged by the lack of opportunities in your community, do you ever think to blame the guy who stole billions from the country?
