USB 3.0 Pci Cards / Front Panel Readers

Hi guys

I'm looking for one of these usb 3.0 PCi Express cards, or front panel all in one readers/multiports. Does anyone know where I can get them at a good deal? I'm also looking for a usb 3.0 extension cable.

Also, has anyone had any issues with usb 3.0 ports/cards? I've seen the Vantec all in one/multiport front panel kit, but some of the reports say that its troublesome.

This one has proper molex power connector. Old USB 2.0 PCI boards without power connector had reliability problems too.

Just checked by board again, and it seems the only available slot I have is a PCI slot, not PCI-e (that slot is running my graphics card)...

So what's the chances of me finding a USB 3.0 PCI card?

Unlikely, as it would saturate PCI bandwith.

Well, if anyone else ever has the same issues that I have, I've found a Startech USB 3.0 PCi card on Amazon US and UK.
