All USB flash drives are water resistant. Think about it: unless there's electricity running through them, what can water do? It's just a bunch of silicon and copper... So long as you dry it out thoroughly afterwards.

That's true, but you know still.. I mean you wouldn't take a cell phones battery out and get that wet.. (even though, after you dry it out, it might work..)

Waterproof flash. sigh..

I'm still a bit skeptical as I've seen rust occur probably due to some of the circuitry being made of steel. If one is to prevent such from happening it would therefore mean having to crack open their flash drives if they do touch water.

But if you take your flash drive apart, work you lose the warrente or something like that?

Of course you are going to lose your warranty, that's why the Tuff-N-Tiny and OCZ ATV flash drives for example are made to protect you from such happening
