USB data modem for a month?

I was wondering if it is possible to rent a HSDPA USB data modem just for a month? If so, how much does it cost and is it a lot of hassle to do so?

Why would you want to rent a USB modem for a month anyway? Why not just get you one Prepaid if you know you gonna use it in future again? Its gonna be cost effective than renting it month to month.
