Hi Guys

Bought myself one of these gadgets, however I can't pickup any analog TV stations:confused: when using my Winfast card no problems.
Any ideas?

It okay though... just relax a little until our gavament gets their **** together and actually deploys digital television within the next decade. sentech IS testing. but i doubt youll get a signal. : )
 
Thanks, well I'll just take it back to my Supplier on Monday and ask for a refund
 
I bought one of these in Malaysia last month http://global.kworld-global.com/main/prod_in.aspx?mnuid=1248&modid=6&prodid=70&flag=1 and it works great
It is a hybrid TV tuner so it picks up both analog and digital and works anywhere in the world. I paid around R500 for mine

It seems as if the only place to pick up a digital signal in Cape Town is in the city center - I tried mine there (at the Mount Nelson car park) and could pick up 12 channels and the signal was very clear.
 
@dawaster......I live close to the TV tower located on Tygerberg and I could not pickup any channels.
 
I just installed the USB stick onto another laptop with newer software and it now picks up the 12 Digital channels here in Rondebosch. I cannot see anything on the screen yet - I reckon its an antennae problem (I will try it outside later)
