Head to Zeda or Auto Pedigree - they're both pretty decent and Europcar (Auto Pedigree) and Avis (Zeda) tend to look after their cars from what I've been able to find out. Things like replacing rather than refurbishing parts that need work.

We're actually talking to Auto Pedigree at the moment and they're quite jacked up. We weren't happy with the trade-in price that they wanted to get us so they've listed our car on AA Autobay as well :D
Free to list, easy to sell (we hope) and I can live with 2.5% com. for them.

As I said above...I have no trouble with rentals at all...they may have been driven by a bunch of palookas, but they are maintained far better than the average used car that you will come across....they also have their mileage put on very quickly, so the motors are usually as strong as hell.

RENTALS ROCK!! :D

I agree 100% bought my son a ex Avis car two years ago haven't had a day's trouble yet.
