Useless Vodacom

I am so fsckin pissed off right now. My debit order didn't go off this month because I forgot to transfer money into the specific account as I though I still had enough left... So I got an sms stating I have to make payment after which (immediately) I transferred money into the account. I phoned Vodacom and ask them to re submit the debit order. They told me it will be done on Wednesday last week. Knowing I have transferred the cash into the account I left it, never got another sms.

Today after lunch I tried to send an sms and I got a notification that the call is barred, tried to make a call and the automated message told me the line has been blocked because I have not made a payment.

So once again I phoned Vodacom and asked wtf!? The lady said that the debit order was rejected again. Apparently Vodacom charges you R94 for a rejected debit order. No one told me this after I phoned the first time and now instead of R770 I have to pay them R960 for two rejected debit orders!! As f'd up as that is I can do nothing about it so I just transferred more cash into the account.

What PISSES me off is that i have to wait until MONDAY for the monkeys to unlock my damn phone so I can use it for work! :mad::mad: I have canceled my 3G contract and another cellphone contract with them so far this year. After this contract expires I will go over to MTN. I have had a contract with Vodacom for 10 years and they lock my phone within the same month I failed to make the payment. Come On!
 
I am not blaming them for my lack of planning, I am upset because they never notified me of the R94 penalty. Anyways, spoke to accounts just now, my line will be re activated in an hour. Strange thing is the lady told me they will only deduct R770 on Friday and the penalties at the end of the month... why do they do it that way now and not last week?? eish...

I disagree! MTN is WORSE!

Not only do they not get payment right, they don't allocated bundles.

Your problem is simple to fix. You pay Vodacom and they unblock your phone.

My problem with MTN is a whole new story. They didn't allocate me bundles, so now I will have to take my whole MTN bill - and argue with them about the calls that should have been in bundle. Then, I get to fight them for a refund.

Never mind the fact that the systems error will probably happen again next month...so I will have to fight with them again!

Trust me, you don't want to come to MTN.
