Using ad-hoc bundles question

I have a data contract. If I activate an ad-hoc bundle during the month it is valid for the next 30 days.

Lets assume I use 50Mb of a 100Mb ad-hoc bundle by the end of the month. At the beginning of the next month, it is the contract bundle that gets used and only when that is exhausted will the remaining 50Mb of the ad-hoc bundle be used.

Now quite often I run out of contract bundle at around the same time I activated the ad-hoc bundle in the previous month but it is either expired or has just a few days to run, so I don't get to use the full amount I paid for.

It would be better for me if the ad-hoc bundle was used up first, then my contract bundle.

Any chance of a change in the system?

Ken, we've looked at this in detail in the past and what you see is (obviously) the current system, i.e. the monthly bundle must kick in first as it is a contractual thing. Only then can the ad-hoc bundle run (again).

I guess one solution could be to put the ad-hoc 'on ice', so to speak, while the contract bundle is active. But I suspect the systems won't be able to do this.

I've got another, better idea that will resolve this but I need to bounce if off a few people before verbalising it.

OK, more power to your elbow. I work on the principle that if no one asks, then no one will address the question.

Thanks for answering - you do a good job on this forum.
