Using Frogfoot for Fibre in a Complex -- Feedback please

Just been reading the Frogfoot horror stories here ..

This week the fibre cable arrived at our complex gate
( after similar trenching problems as described in other posts -- FOUR water pipes bust and no water for three days )
I have a feeling that they are trying to get fibre lines installed into as many areas BEFORE any one else arrives on the scene

Is there anyone that has experience of using them to do the fibre plus install in a complex ? ( before ISP does internal work )
Our problem is that no-one else has bothered to think about fibre to our street (although there are MANY other fibre trunks )
After being starved for so long it is hard to hide the excitement

What are tricks / traps / pitfalls of agreements with fibre installers as far as a complex is concerned ?
Do not want to end up with long term unresolvable dead ends !

All Fibre installers hit water pipe it's not about rushing it's also about municipal plans not updated and they are not aware of the pipes.

Frogfoot is one of the cheapest FNO at the moment so your complex neighborhood will appriacte them more trust me.


Once on Frogfoot they still have like 60 isp to choose from.

All FNO will want exclusive rights to a complex if they build it as the build for free and need to make up the cost.

My experience so far ...

Fibre has arrived at the complex gate
Now for the next step of internal fibre installation
Need someone to come and do an inspection / provide a quote / explain process to body-corporate

Send email many days ago -- NO reply
Phoned their land line number -- waited to be answered a long time maybe five minutes
NO one could help me -- spoke to four different people just always being passed on
Eventually reached some big kahuna -- first thing he wanted to know is "HOW DID YOU GET MY NUMBER"
Promised to call back -- STILL waiting ..

Does NOT inspire -- confidence !

Telkom already has a full COPPER install in the complex
NO idea WHY they have not come to the party ? as they have an Openserve main fibre cable 40 -50 metres away with the already access to the complex.

Just seem to be the normal usual SA SHYTEFEST !
