Using training apps and videos at Virgin Active

Virgin Active members are not allowed to train their friends or family at the company’s gyms unless they are official personal trainers.

However, members are allowed to use training videos to inform their training sessions.

So just get your friend to live stream from his house and have the same result, win!

So I'm allowed or not allowed to have an outside personal trainer on a Skype call during my workout coaching me?
Seems to me VA is drawing a completely arbitrary line in the sand that can be circumvented in numerous ways as technology improves.

So... Can I still spot my bros when doing bench presses?

No. That’s 2 way communication

VA can go suck a dick.

They always had half the lanes in their pools occupied by external coaches and if you complain to VA about it they argue "but they're paying to rent these lanes, so you have to move."

Well we pay gym membership to use those lanes and we're not making a god damn profit off it, Becky.

Same goes for thnose knuts who reserve squash courts for 4 months in a row.

If you need someone to help you do a dumbbell curl then you should try something else.
there is science to it, ... the angle at which you hold or how you grip the dumbbell influences which muscle/what part of the muscle you are hitting... - if most people just knew, what could be achieved in far less time and effort without paying crazy personal session rates...but of course PT/gyms will never give you some insight / promote explicitly -how to properly train/the biomechanics...that will be killing the fat cows, -that they are milking....

Waiting for the insight....

VA and other gyms sounds more and more like some kind of weird cult.
that you pay money for and they decide totally arbitrary rules for.

dont they realise they need to have staff patrolling the gym to catch the "violators"
much easier to just let people do as they please and not bother them.

do they pay the gym fees? yes? then it isnt your problem who they choose to workout with.

sound a lot like MTN and other cellphone providers that complain you cant use data bundles with whatsapp.
as it eats into their profits.

Just open up a Telegram call on their complementary wifi and instruct them though that .
