Using XML as a data source in reporting services

Hey Guys



Im trying to use an XML document as a data source to generate a form but i have no idea where to even begin like what do you use in the dataset ???

I am assuming you are at the Visual Studio part and creating a new datasource...

Thanks man.

The thing is i have created a data source with a connection string pointing to the xml file(I think its right) and then I leave the dataset empty and when i try to run the report i get the following err. "...failed to prepare web request for the specified URL. the 'file' scheme is not supported"

ok i got it sorted i eventually used an embedded data source
