I had a look at the linux drivers a while back . It does not seem to have a complete TCP/IP style stack , Just an ethernet based protocol between the machine and the UTD, so no I do not think that you will find that it supports snmpjmn said:Does anybody know if the UT(D) supports SNMP? Kyocera does not mention anything about it for their access bridge.

GS, yes I believe it does mean that other PCz are going through your PC to get to the outside world via ICS, with one big exception - none of those PCz must be setup with a PPPoE connection which would allow them to directly access the UTD and establish a connection on their own without going through your PC.Grimsqueaker said:...
Even if I connect the modem through a switch, the connection is still set up on my PC and shared via ICS to other PCs on my network. Doesn't this mean that the other PCs are accessing the Internet through my PC and therefore through my firewall? I am running Sygate Personal firewall.
Thanks
Ok, just checking here, you had your connection established with UTD attached to Linux box via ethernet, and simultaneously attached to a Windoze box attached via USB cable? What OS on the Windoze box (W2KP, XPProf, XPHome, ...)?jmn said:USB terminal SW shows not connected and can't seem to connect again while ethernet is connected, so no stats...
noone said:USB is 1mb (but not true 1mb) and the ethernet cable runs at 10mb (so you know the cable is not the bottleneck)
I would have run a separate cable (eg ripcord) for the power, that's all...speedfreak said:I HAD to go to Ethernet. I simply just dont get signal on the ground. So my solution...
