Hi guys
Anyone care to get an uncapped uunet account?
only R400pm, no contract.
Im just looking for feedback for now and it will take off effectivly beginning of April. Website should be up soon :D
Lemmie know

The catch will be it's a 512 account split between 2 people probably... but that might be worth it.

well if its 512 between two people:

1.) More than worth it for 192 users??
2.) Is it legit?

FayaBoi,

What contention? R400 for uncapped is pretty good, but what is the speed going to be?

-A

Fayaboi, please provide more technical information..

For starters, uunet accounts are hardlocked to single logins so sharing an account wont even be possible.

please do hurry up with ur details. I'm bout to sign up with webafrica. your price seems a tad low, nearly half of other offers, so a lil more insight will be helpfull, or people will just right u off as yet another white hope looking to scam desperate broadband userz.

Methinx caution should be the watchword here. Proof positive of a genuine service offering would've been a more professional posting in the first place, not the 'feedback' request initially posted. Smacks more of a tentative marketing trawl for fishes, particularly given the single-post history...

It is uncapped ADSL, unshaped mostly, (except for things like P2P apps etc)
The speed depends on what connection you currently have. eg Telkom384k
I will basically provide u with a new username & password for the uncapped service.
Its 1 connection per account so there is no scam or sharing of accounts.

FayaBoi, unless UUNET is giving you special rates, you will run at an extreme loss selling accounts for that amount of money.

People, be aware that this _is_ a scam

This is no scam. Im not out to make money, i was doing it for my friends and now i decided to help out others.

Details

Lets have some more details FayaBoi.

If I understand correctly, UUNET Uncapped is done via resellers, which implies wholesale rates, so assume that a reseller simply resells at more or less the same as wholesale price (i.e. a not-for-profit effort)...

Yeah, this is very suspicious - most resellers are selling between R700 and R720, please provide more details etc.

I can honestly tell you that R400 is WAY below even what the resellers get the accounts for. I personally spoke with several UUNET agents (as I'm thinking of becoming a reseller, but see what my options are first) and the price Fagboy quoted would means he pays in every month instead of breaking even or even have a margin of profit to cover the realm costs.
