uunet uncapped DSL for only R400pm!! Interested?

/me waits for "noone" to bring out the R100 / month uunet uncapped account :-)
 
bwhaha, doubt it will be R100 a month, but anything can happen, just waiting for UUNET to contact me back re: All my questions and if you're lucky, by the end of this week I'll be up and running.

Yes well, I tried haggling with UUNET to give me an option to sell 192k/384k packages for cheaper. But none from their side as of yet.

So, what do you guys think of R680 (vat incl)?
 
no cap, no crappy cisco routers or pc's with linux sitting at your home (like business adsl from IS and others)

Just your beloved ADSL line + Modem (and for gawd sakes some kind of firewall!)
 
Pretty silly if you think iburst is going to impose a 3 gig cap, while UUNET (the same frikken supplier of bandwidth) is offering uncapped ADSL accounts.

Yes sure, it's only 512k... but you can pull 147gig a month like that. For R700 odd bucks + R680 for line rental, it's the cheapest broadband by far

ofcourse i presume month - month based ect, u know how we all love contracts :) and ye R680 incl. sounds great, granted its only R38 cheaper than webafrica, cheaper is cheaper, and thnx 4 ur efforts... especially the 386k options attempts... cos now i gotta look at the prospect of upgrading to a 512k line, simply cos im paying for a 512k account.

I would be very impressed if somebody can give a usable DSL service for R400 and turn a proper proffit (under the current pricing regime enforced by Telkom). I don't think it is too much to expect more info from whomever posted this very subtle advert...

More info please.

Well if I had a good service, which I knew worked, and which I could offer for cheap, just judging from this thread I wouldn't come to MyADSL to tell people about it cos I know I would get shot down. Insults, rude comments, unfounded claims, nit-picking.. what would be the point of mentioning something?

If you were a newcomer here at MyADSL and you read this thread - what would you be thinking? I'm not trying to pee on anyone's party, but think about it.
