Well if I had a good service, which I knew worked, and which I could offer for cheap, just judging from this thread I wouldn't come to MyADSL to tell people about it cos I know I would get shot down. Insults, rude comments, unfounded claims, nit-picking.. what would be the point of mentioning something?

If you were a newcomer here at MyADSL and you read this thread - what would you be thinking? I'm not trying to pee on anyone's party, but think about it.

Who gives a damn MaD !

If someone offering a product on the market can't get past a few forum issues, they shouldn't even be going to market.

I'm SICK of seeing members of this forum feeling "sad" about those that are offering connectivity options !

Hell, HAMMER THEM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE !

I love the way this forum gives stick to the various ISP offerings - the sceptical eye on all that they offer. It's a wonderful place to separate FACT from FICTION.

As far as I'm concerned, the forumula of giving ISP's a bloody hard time needs to continue !

Agree wholeheartedly with BB_MATT. It's about time that providers of any kind of service wake up to the fact that growing consumer activism in the face of shoddy offerings, is now a fact of their business lives - if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen! Same thing applies to Government/Regulators...

I dare Poison Ivy to try sneaking into my kitchen - she will be in for a nasty herbicidal surprise...

Hell IC - you've really got a thing for the good Doctor, poor you! Methinx you should stand back a little, though, and take another look - it's the players around her/behind her that are actually pulling the strings. She's merely the public face of the mafioso involved - I'd go so far as to say that the power is actually centred around her deputy, and the new DG. My reading of the situation is that there's actually more than one caucus with a self-interest agenda, and it's not only in the DoC. Evidence of this is apparent in the SNO delay, the 'liberalisation' announcement and its subsequent 'watering-down', ICASA's *****-footing, a Convergence Bill that potentially conflicts with the President's stated objectives, and so the list goes on... Ah well, as a public persona she's fair game, but methinks we should properly target the real sondebokke - Telkrap!

Geesh - what's wrong with the word "p-u-s-s-y-footing"? Nothing offensive there!

I dont cut slack for someone trying to impress you with the start of the thread and then simply dont feel man enough to back himself up with just some facts even freaken fiction or bulls.h.i.t just to stand his ground.

Imagine doing business with such a person? asking him why there is downtime and he starts to cry and beg you not to hate him.

No thanks, good bye.

mbs, you are 100% correct & I agree totally - I know there are puppet strings attached to the Poison Ivy tendrils, but my take is that the creeper needs to be pruned to the point that it is no longer offending the public eye, perhaps then we will see where all those naked strings lead to...

Woah was it that upsetting to have a bit of Telkom in the discussion.

I agree tho, Telkom is very depressing :)
