We're looking for a web designer to join our small team on a full-time basis at our office in Westville. Starting salary is R10k - R15k per month (depending on skill) with plenty of room for growth. Your job will involve web design for some prominent clients, as well as internal products for which you will be able to provide the creative direction from prototype all the way through to deployment.

The ideal candidate should have a strong focus on UX and have a few years experience - but if you're a 'freshman' with out-of-this-world design talent, please send your portfolio anyway! Your work will involve primarily HTML5 and CSS3, so you need to be intimately familiar with both. If you are familiar with JavaScript that would be a huge bonus, so please indicate as such.

Please send your details to [email protected] and provide the following information:

  • A portfolio of your work (ideally links to some websites you've worked on, or a PDF portfolio if you are unable to provide a website link)
  • Your salary expectation (or current salary if you're currently employed)
  • Your contact details (full name, contact number, and email)
  • Client references (if you've been involved in freelance work)
  • Something interesting about yourself

As always, if you don't get a response within 2 weeks, you should consider your application unsuccessful.

If you don't hear from me within 2 weeks, you should consider your recruitment unsuccessful.

I'm really curious to know if anyone actually applies on a listing like that.
