 I have a sony ericsson v800 - And im trying to use the modem for data calls...Just normal dialup calls on windows. Data calls are activated on the sim card. And i have tested it on another phone and it works. But with the v800 it just says calling for 3 seconds and then it drops the call. if you check the modem log file it says no carrier. I booked my phone in to vodaworld they say they fixed it. I tested it still not working.. Do you guy's know if there is a modem intialize string you have to put in ?? so it will dailout ???

USB or bluetooth?

BTW you must dial *99***3# not just *99#, to choose access profile 3 (internet), instead of 1 or 2 (vlive & mms I believe).

I've also got a V800. I got the dialup working with USB, but Bluetooth doesn't seem to work at all. I have no idea why.

I've had no problems with bluetooth on my v800, all the config effort is on the PC side. Both the Widcomm & Microsoft stacks require a bit of fiddling to get dial up going.
