Hello,

Can someone give me some advice as to what to buy a guy for Valentines Day? As there is alot of guys on here, I would appreciate some feedback of what would be a nice gift to get a guy. Please keep it realistic :)

Thank you in advance!

Nicci!

Pooky is onto something, kinky sex! No monetary costs.

I love torches, so maybe get him one of those rechargeable 19 LED torches from Midas, they have like 15 hours usability per charge. About R200.

Get him a swiss army knife, every boy wants to be MacGyver. Not too thick with tons of little tools, just the average one, but must be a genuine. Don't know price.

Two big ass speakers with amp. Don't know price.

Yes. Those torches with the stretch bands to wear it around on your head are great. A man that has one of those on his head looks like he means business.

But then again that's more of a Christmas gift than a Valentine's gift. A V-gift should be something relevant to the relationship. Something sentimental. Like another 3GB databundle from his favourite service provider.

Niccia, judging by the above replies, maybe you could buy the guy that book entitled How Not To Be A One-Track Minded Male ... ?

So you're suggesting that she not get him what men really want and instead buy him a book? Wow - Mr Blu's in for a rocking valentines night. Maybe you can get him a flower-power night light and frill sheets for his birthday as well... :p

Let me see now ...

Blu - in a relationship where the SO has no complaints.
versus
DJK and other males - desperately trying to get a woman, any woman, in their lives by dating random chicks and hoping for the best.

Naaah, I think I won this one.

SIT DOWN, DJK!

You evidently don't have a good relationship with his mates...

No, my dear. See some of us aren't looking for that long-term commitment to minimal sex just yet. I'm happily in a relationship with 2 women at the moment and loving it. I get double the valentines gifts this year but it also means that I've had to think twice as much about what I'm giving and what I'd like to receive.

But after reading your post again, it really sounds like you're missing the dating game. Go on, get back in there girl. Mr Blu doesn't have to know about it...:p
