Hi all,

A little while ago there was a thread where you guys posted places where you take your cars to get a real proper valet wash. Inside and out.
Been meaning to go to the place in Sunninghill to get my Toyota looking amazing again but lost the links.

Budget is R2-4k. Deep clean, carpets, exhaust..everything must be cleaned to the tea. Unfortunetly I neglected my baby since I take the buss to work as off late so the sun has been kinda harsh.
On this, is there a cover for the car that will protect it from the sun? Worried the dash might crack.

Thanks :D

Are you mad?

DIY phoenix much cheaper ..buy maguiars wax and DIY

do a good job over the weekend

talking about a valet

does anyone know what it costs to clean seats

and if you can hire the upholstery cleaner ..would that work

That's roughly what a pro would charge for a good job. Considering that the effort could take 12hrs, possibly leaving the car looking as-new, it's worth it IMO. A basket of retail Meg's products may not necessarily deliver the same results in the hands of a regular car-owner

I'd rather get a proper detailer to do that sort of work, rather than a team of cleaners who really aren't careful with your vehicle.

I can vouch for http://www.uniquefinish.co.za/

Thanks mate, this was the place I was looking at. Will see if they can mail me a quote and will post here :)

@Abzo exactly this^. I've seen their work before and it's really top-notch. Leaves a car looking brand-new. Check out the site, you'll be suprsied.

@Sam, already have all these but the Sun has hurt my baby a little too much. Have the wax already but no help.

Just a pre warning.
My car's spare wheel was stolen and I'm pretty sure it was at the car valet place.
When I had my car serviced a couple of weeks ago, the guy phoned to tell me there's no spare wheel.

Do you always check that your spare wheel is still there after a valet?

2-4k is WAY too much for a valet. on average a full valet at a professional valet company which is you wash, dry, vacuum, full body polish, deep cleaning of seats and carpets, cleaning of roof lining, cleaning and treating the dash and all panels in the car, engine steam clean, steam cleaning of boot mat, all this costs around R650. i own a car wash & valet centre and i've done research as to what my competitors charge, the most expensive place in PE charges R680.

R4k for a car wash?? Lol some of you okes have money to piss away.

I think Unique asks you R2500 for a full detail, not a valet that any car wash can do. Would I let any car wash do a valet on my car?? No flippin ways!! I would much rather pay the professionals more to get my car spotless again!! So I will def recommend unique!!

They do great work clearly and do charge for that of course. Where in JHB is a decent place to go for a general Valet...? (The R700 variety)
