I am keen to hear from anyone who has used a herbal vaporizer, are they worth it, do they work etc?

I am finding my chest is taking strain and seems a better option from a health aspect.

I see the portable vaps are not cheap at all, but seems the most obvious choice.

Any insight appreciated.

OMG! Next you will be shooting heroin...

Don't ask for advice here...you may leave with 1950's pamphlets under your arm.

I recommend a vaporizer from http://www.herbalaire.com/

its pretty much the same as the volcane for a 1/3rd of the price.

Your lungs will thank you later.

I had breathing problems for years and used a variety of decongestant nasal sprays (Vicks is the only one that I can recall) which helped in the short term but ultimately made the problem worse.

Three lots of surgery "sort of" fixed it.

Herbal sprays, if they help, will probably be not much different.

If the congestion is too bad I stand in a hot shower (leave Zuma out of it) to "steam clean" the passages.

Try to avoid the spray route.

I think you may have missed the point a little. A vaporizer in the context being mentions is an alternative way of smoking weed, just minus the smoking bit.

Rofl. I was a bit worried about that.

Awesome thanks will check it out.

Can you put herbs in here? Like rosemary and thyme etc

Yip, fresh from the herb garden.

Lol, I had a good chuckle.

Yes absolutely, anything you burn is carcinogenic, best thing is to stop smoking completely. Eat, vaporize, never smoke. If you are giving up cigarettes there are a number of electric cigarettes out there, you could also get an iolite vaporizer which is a gas vaporizer for which you only need to keep a gas refill cylinder with you and not an electric generator for the middle of the bush ;) which you can use to vaporizer tobacco. It's highly portable.

I say tobacco but you can vaporize essential oils and other plant material.

Aaw bless. :D

I ended up getting the magic flight box, very cool little vape. Does the job. ;)

depends if you are quitting smoking, or if you actually have blocked nasal passages generally. I used to inhale eucalyptus mixed with steaming hot water under a towel a few times a day to deal with sinuses (long before I ever smoked anything). Ask your herbalist but you should be able to vape anything you can eat and many other things. Might be worthwhile to visit the hot spa? For anyone who wants to stop smoking weed, but can't afford a vaporizer, ever considered smoking hash?
