Vaporiser

Why don't you use it anymore?

Dont like it.Feels like im pulling air.It does get the job done though and gives a clearer high than smoking the same material in a paper and its very small so you can take it to the movies and such.Lifetime guarantee aswell.

You dont get off till you cough!

I ended up getting the magic flight box, very cool little vape. Does the job. ;)

Also have on of these, they are portable and have a lifetime warranty. I've had mine replaced twice with no questions asked after my dog chowed it to bits. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but once you got it, it works like a charm.

I still havent decided which vape to get. (alright, so I'm in no hurry).
I'm leaning more to a table top vape and would like to know why people buy the portable vapes, besides the obvious reason of course, being on the go etc.
Surely the table tops offer more precision and quality, or am I wrong?
Also, surely a cheap vape is not the way to go because you never know what glues etc have been used which might leach into the vape and compromise the health benefits of it.

Anyone with a table top care to comment?

To address your questions in point form

1) Portable vapes... well, that's kind of like saying why buy a car besides to drive around... we bought them to have one on the go, and also because they can be very inconspicuous.

2) Table tops vs portable... well, assuming they both have digital thermostats, they're probably equally as precise. The big difference is the amount of vapour one gets out of it - portable vapes aren't that great for sharing around a table with friends (they work, but it's a mission) whereas that is exactly where table-tops excel.

3) I wouldn't go with a cheap vape either, which is why my two are the Ascent (by Da Vinci) portable and Volcano (by Storz & Bickel) table-top... in my opinion, nothing beats the Volcano; it's just all sorts of awesome.

Thanks
I think what I actually meant to ask was, are the portables as efficient as the table tops which you have answered.
I cant see from the pics on the sites if portables have a accurate/efficient temp control - I think this is very NB. Some require you to know when the temp is correct and when the vapor is ready - I dont want to bother with this.

I would love to get the Volcano, just a bit pricy. I have seen a few on Ebay - 2nd hand of course, do you think these could be a worthy purchase?

Also, what do you think of this one:

That's the one I'll get when I can justify paying for it, though I haven't actually tried it!
I have the portable Arizer Solo (same company that makes the extremeq)
I think the temp control is fine on my Solo but I wish it had a fan like the table tops do, would make a huge difference I think.

You shouldnt really have gotten a replacement unit but anyways, i always wondered how they make they thing because it looks like a solid block of wood.

Why do you say that?
I told them on both occasions that the dog chewed it and they just sent a new one every time. I then had to destroy it in a certain way and send them photos to keep my warranty on the next unit.

I just saw this vape on ebay : http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-2...DIGITAL-VAPORIZER-FULL-WARRANTY-/300863034636 for almost 100$ less. How does this work, how can it be sold as new for so much cheaper?
Not sure to trust this or not.

Well because its your fault that you left it where your dog is able to get ahold of it.The unit didnt break by itself, your dog just destroyed it.Im very surprised they even entertained your case.WTF?If only other companies will replace things that my dog chewed:whistle:

Maybe it's an older model?
Personally I would spend a bit more and get it from a local distributor.
I got mine (a couple years ago) from http://www.vaporium.co.za/
The guy even came around with different models for me to look at before buying, (not sure if he still does this though or if he does it for everyone).

This is straight from their website:

""Will Magic-Flight honor the warranty even if I break the Box through my own stupidity?
Yes we will. We will even warranty units that have been modified for reasons of artistry or improved functionality.

We do make an exception for units which in our opinion were deliberately damaged (ie, for the purpose of making a warranty claim) will be charged at full retail price.""
