Been playing wow for 2 years on a laptop, np's. My old LT started taking strain in Northrend, new one is chomping it like nothing.

Yeah, I know it works on my laptop, but only 1/4 screen.
The latency is just horrible over 3G here, so I don't play while at home. I've since moved closer and Telkom assures me that my new address is ADSL enabled. The problem now is getting my old order canceled and getting my line moved *sigh* :(

Pitbull how far have you guys gotten. I got my Lock to Lv22 in about two weekends play. But I guess the rest are on Lv60 or something hehehe

Pitbull is no longer with us unfortunately. Most of the members are sitting at lvl 68-80 atm. We have a couple of low levels which are mainly our alts but if you keen to join give us a whisper ingame (zinky, shalaa, lendorial) or just /who awesome

I run a MTN 3G line (claiming to do HSDPA :S) and I play at about 300-400 MS - not great considdering in Germany I got 22-57 MS! Makes it a little harder to play rogue, but other than that for pve, it's still pretty much faceroll stuff.

Well my connection is HSDPA at home, tough I only get about half the download speed. And by horrible latency I mean between 1200ms and 16000ms. And no there's no typo there. But I got better latencies when I visit my mom, 500ms-2500ms, which is ok for playing a lock hehehe.

Yer, I know when I started, I was with Telkom and Vodacom, was wooting when I got my MS under 1K. Best thing is to resign ureself to being a caster, otherwise u will be chasing shadows for the rest of ure life.

What u also can do is maybe reduce the amount of detail u have on background, there's a lot of the shadowing, that isn't that necesary and it only comes into it's own right on high end systems. You'll be able to shave off some ms's that way as well.
 
how many people are there in vasbyt? lets say i join next year or the year after that, wil the high lvls help me in low lvl raids and instances like ZF and ZG?
 
Soul atm we are sitting with 25 members (and its Awesome, vasbyt no longer exists) about i say 8 are alts. So ya... ofcourse we help, thats what guilds do. We've always been like that.. i cant remember how many times ive been run through instances by higher levels in our guild.
 
maybe ill roll a horde on your server when i get bored, i been wanting to have a high level horde char, lol can you guys boost me for gear in the low level isntances?:P
 
Been on for 2 days on Lightbringer, not a sign of any members of Awesome, including Wednesday evening :O.
