Hi guys

All is going well and we have 5 members so far of which 3 has been playing actively. So this will be the recruitment thread :p

Again I'll just mention our aim. Most of us re-rolled completely starting afresh on a new realm. Our aim is to go through all the content from Classic then move to TBC and lastly WoTLK. This is due to the fact that most of us lost out on all the content due to our late starts. We are aiming to get through all instances and Raids from start to finish. For this we need at least 40 dedicated members. I can recruit from the server but would like to try and get 40 SA players.

Pls note that this will include all raids from AQ40 all the way through to Naxx 25. Also aiming to hit as many Achievements as possible. I'm now level 26 and the 2 druids are sitting at level 16/15 so all is going well. There is also a level 1 Shaman still due to start and someone else.

We need healers and DPS. Currently all classes can be rolled. If you always wanted to have a Pink haired Gnome rogue, now is the time to do it :)

We have one big goal and that is to have fun, level and social together. All this while making sure we do each and every instance and raid in game. This is not a race to level 80 guild but a guild to have fun in and play the game the way it was meant to be played.

Lightbringer is a PvE server and there is no worries about being ganked while trying to have fun. This has been a nice change for me and I'm sure it will be for most of you hardcore Horde players too :p

Feel free to ask questions if you want. I'll be here everyday :p

Damn...I was reading this and thinking, maybe I should transfer my Priest to Lightbringer and level him with you guys and do the raids :)

Then I read "If you always wanted to have a Pink haired Gnome rogue, now is the time to do it" and remembered you're playing alliance :(

hehe.

I have been a "Die Hard" horde player now for 2 years. And i can honestly say this new change is very refreshing. I'm having a blast playing the other side of the fence for a change :p

One awesome thing is Shadow Meld now breaks combat. It gave me a happy pee pee when I found that out last night.

lets say i join the guild, but i join it next year september. will you guys go through the instances again with the people that joined the guild late?

I don't mind doing it again. The biggest problem is progression. A group of people need to do it together and progress gradually. These raids work in steps and require gear to do it. So a group of players do it together and gear up together. If someone falls behind they will miss out. Raiding is a team game and needs to be done in a set group from start to finish.

Redoing all of it to help people gear is time consuming and stressfull. Best would be to roll with us now.

At what pace will you guy's be playing?
I've only bought WoW a couple of weeks back (after reading the treads here), but I haven't played yet. I'm still waiting for my ADSL line to get activated.

So I basically want to know, if it would be possible to catch up with you guys if I get my ADSL early next year.

While leveling you can play on GPRS/Edge/3G/HSDPA with no problem. We are in no hurry. Most of the guys haven't even started yet. Feel free to join us when you have time to do so. Even if you don't raid with us, we can teach you allot about WoW in general. I would suggest getting started now if you can. The longer you wait the harder it is to catch up. But there will always be space for fellow SA players :)

I'll be starting next weekend (10th) or so. I'll prolly catch Pitbull within a week or so.

I live in Douglas, it's about an hours drive from Kimberly.
Would buying Wrath of the Lich King make a large difference in the patch size? I already have The Burning Crusade.
