"Vasbyt" (Lightbringer) PvE

Your not alone MissM.... Im a female wow player too... got addicted to it:D Wanna start on a new character but the thing is i can't play that much.... but for the next 4 months ill probably be a solid player:)

lol :D Well that would be taking the fun away from you. And it would be good experience for when you do your wifes site.

I tried to install WoW last night, but it gave some error about the temp files. :o I'll try again later, we're only working half day today. :)

Can we organize like daily or bi-daily DM/SFM/SK (or whatever the short names are) runs?

I need to grind out a whole level and would rather be doing it earning some rep and getting some decent items.

I kind of feel left behind by Pitbull already (the level whore!) :(

Oh and Pitbull, look up, I'm waving atcha! :D

Jayuar. Still need to figure out which quests I can get etc. I still need to do the defias traitor escort which I assume opens up some DM quests to do.

Not really looking for a boost per say. But you can stick around in case I get my ass kicked ;)

Quick question, if I have Horde character on Lightbringer can I roll Alliance character on Lightbringer as well?
Thought it wasn't possible?

Yes, Lightbringer is a normal server. That only applies to PVP realms
 
What is the use of a rogue on a pve realm?

Hmm ... I'm still battling with understanding the whole thing.

Why then bother having 2 factions?

There's nothing more thrilling than your 1st hordie encounter. The very 1st hordie i killed was a lvl 34 warrior - 9 levels above me. In ashenvale nogal!

He was so pissed that a lvl 25 rogue ganked him that he called some friends in ... not long and a lvl 70 pwned me and 2 lvl 19 friends (who were far off bystanders in my ganking) ... then I blew the horn of Gondor and Rohan answered in the form of 4lvl 70s from my guild. The hordie's guild brought another in totaling 10 hordies between 60-70. Our guild retaliated with all our 70s coming in for the brawl. It carried on for over an hour. It was beautiful and true teamwork unlike any instance you'll ever do.

Another favourite was when some of our alts were ganked in Arathi Highlands by some macho lvl 70s ... we logged our 70s and chased them into wetlands, back out and to their camp, killing them every few yards. This carried on for over 2.5hrs!

Sure its irritating being ganked, but when the tables turn it's more fun than any questing/ raid could ever be. The sense of uncertainty is always exciting. Places like Ganklethorn Vale is also quite a sight!

I'm not trying to knock PvE by any means ... I just do not grasp it's appeal entirely yet.

Yeah, as fun as it sounds, you start hating life when you've got no friends online, guildies arent willing to help
 
I don't make an effort to gank when I'm running around but I will if one of several thing occur.
1. You try gank me. I'll gank right back if u try that.
2. Ganking lowbies in front of me. I had some nub Rogue ganking lowbies at the STV fishing comp a few weeks ago so I beat the snot out of him for it.
3. Camping my alts. I don't mind the odd gank while I'm leveling something but if u decide to hang around and gank me when I rez then I will log my DK and I will make you regret it.

I used to play happily on a PvE server but I just love the added dimension of playing on a PvP server far too much to ever move off.
 
yea I remember the good old days of Ultima Online. PvP on there... I used to stick to the town. I was a master miner and clothier.

*runs to cotton, picks cotton, makes shirts*

*mines, get iron ore, sells iron ore*

Used to keep me busy for hooooooooooouuurs

If WoW brought in non-combat classes it'd make my day.
