Vasectomy - NOT!!!!

The vagueness of my previous was intentional.

Test results came back positive. I am part of the 0.000001%

Anyway, I will be meeting the young man in less than 60 days.

Urologist will redo the operation again, once I am ready.
I will have another operation, but I'm not yet sure how much faith I will have in the operation outcome or if I should see another Urologist. Still considering.

That's a bit kak, congrats anyway. If it was me I'd probably still be crying. Don't ever want more kids again. Wouldn't handle that well now.

How does that even happen? Do the tubes re-fuse? Must be some mutant wolverine like powers.

Hahahaha... I have been the joke of the family this last 2 months... "mutant wolverine" is new

Before my operation, 9 years ago, I read about the possibility of it failing, but I always thought the chances are too low and it will not happen to me.
Well, I will always take note of these possibilities for whatever else I read.

So here is my thoughts on this,

Gentlemen go for the "snip" to save the Mrs the whole schlep of getting tubes tied, mostly because men apparently recover quicker, less invasive, blah blah blah ( at least thats the excuse my wife is going with)

However, @Caldo , you are the 4th person i have heard of / known that this has happened to, where as with a woman getting tubes tied, as i understand, there isnt this 0.00000001% chance story

It's not Friday, but hey right now I can accept every day as Friday...

I also expect to be the joke of the thread, but I need some humour now.

Looong story very short.

9 years ago, after the birth of my second son.
I had a vasectomy.

Fast forward.
Last week, a Dr diagnosis my wife with early menopause.
She decided to go see a gynecologist.

Guess what... She is 5 months pregnant!!!!!!
Get a paternity test china

Reasoning is not correct.
I went for the snip, because I always wanted only 2 kids. In my younger days, I already planned and researched about having a vasectomy.

I could have asked my wife to go for an operation after the birth of the second one, but it was never her plan and for me to force her into this thing be unreasonable.

It did have to do with recovery time.

The other option was birth control, but those things are not kind on the female body and again, I will be asking her to do something that she may not have wanted.

I wanted to do the operation, not for recovery time, but because I wanted to.

I took me a alot of conversations and convincing with the wife before she said yes. But eventually she agreed (halfheartly)

And now that this thing is open again, she is saying that I should wait before having another operation, and maybe we should consider another baby after this. I died!!!!!!! Jirrrreeee f0k man!!!!!

Take my advise,

Dont go back to the same snipper. I hear he doesnt do a good job.

either that, or get it done for free

depends on who and how they do it. The doc that did mine said he cuts a piece out, so the tubes can't reach each other and grow back, then he burns those two point, and finally ties them up.
Said his method is 100%.

That little one needs a friend or companion in the house mate.
Goodluck

My Urologist explained the same procedure.
Cut out a piece of the tube, burn the ends, tie them together.
They take the cut out piece and send it off to the lab for some testing/confirmation (or something)
So I thought, this is 110%.

I guess it just had to happen this way.

@Caldo,
I admire your attitude towards your wife: not immediately accusing her of unfaithfulness, and you've respected the integrity of her body.

And I like the way you've owned this matter, stating your own reasons, your own decisions, what you did and did not do. And now, you're trying to get over the shock and you've taken steps to go ahead, responsibly, as a family of 5.

No wonder your wife wants you to stick around, as a sensible, good husband and father of, perhaps, another child - you're a good catch! But if you yourself don't want to father that next (fourth) child, further down the line, then definitely don't do it.

Good luck, congratulations, and hope you find that the new baby is fun.

Thank you for your kind words

Mine was also like this, permanent.....no reversals possible.....no-take-backsy's. My doctor actually showed me the vas deference pieces he cut out, every time he was finished with one. Was like 3 to 5cm long.
