Update

The operation went well.
Recovery also going well, some discomfort. My sack is swallen, but it is expected.

Going for check up in 10 days.

But all is well thus far...

The better question is to ask if OP ever went back to confirm the vasectomy worked.

Many do the vasectomy and never go back for the testing to confirm the swimmers are gone.

Because it’s actually pretty damn difficult to get pregnant when everything is operating normally.

You have a very small window of perfect conditions very month to make the magic happen.

Therefore it’s not that crazy to think you’d miss that window over 9 years if firing on half cylinders, when people who are perfectly healthy often take 2-3 years while actively trying to make it work.

And assuming that the operation did take at first and unraveled over time, it’s not all that crazy.

I did not do the test for the first operation.
But I believe it was a success, because my wife went 9 year without getting pregnant.

This time round I made sure I went for the follow up test...

I’m also suppose to go for the test.. last time none of the nurses wanted to assist me, had to leave. Will try again soon

One of my military colleagues wanted assistance at a military hospital too. Pretty nurses used to work there. The doctor assured him he would get assistance and asked him to wait in the waiting room among the other patients. In walked a rugby player sized male nurse wearing a glove that enquired in a loud voice, "Right, who's the guy who can't w@nk!?"
