vasectomy- so who had it done ?

i had thought of the idea but could not handle the embarresment of the member getting a life of its own whilst i am asleep.

One potential problem, however, is that after a while the valve may clog with protein and remain shut, rendering the man permanently infertile.

Exactly what i was thinking.. although an alternative would be to study how long this would take and the recovery needed such that it can be in effect xx months and opened for xx months(recovery). Not too bad an option tho if its possible. And then there is also the wear and tear on the actual valve system(besides the tube).

One thing tho is its microwave :s

Another issue to realize is that its not as simple as closing the valve and then off you go, it takes a few days before its effective as u kinda have to wait for all current sperm to pass out of your system(that is beyond the point of vasectomy/valve).

In China they offer a operation that inserts a pea sized plastic ball into your sperm pipes. This can be done in 5 minutes and is 100% reversible.

But for me I have 2 kids so I need to get mine done this year still. And about the issue of men being more likely to have affairs, did anybody ever bother to look at these guys wifes first?

Don't doctors ask if people still want kids after 2 or 3 kids?(prior to giving birth) Remember mom had that after my lil sister surprised everyone and uhm she wasn't the only surprise in family either :P

Only when i was at tech, then they were everywhere :D
