So for 4 months we have been struggling with Vodacon to get the failing infrastructure sorted out as the signal is dismal on the property.....We had a guy come out to 'inspect' the infrastructure....however he was more concerned with getting his fancy shoes dirty and he didn't really do too much....! Anyway, long story short, application was approved, forms were completed...and thats as far as its gone now....

Does anyone have a contact email for someone who knows how to operate and respond to an email? I fear these guys are technically challenged as no-one responds to emails...then again that seems to be an MO of sorts for just about all companies these days!!

Sorry to hear of your problem which is a common one with ALL Network Operators. The following advice might have a reasonable chance of resolving this type of problem reoccurring.
1) Get a Service Reference number by sending a email to [email protected] explaining your problem. Calling is a useless black hole.
2) Allow for 7 working days to be resolved, if not resolved compile a properly constructed email to [email protected] wherein the subject states your Service Reference as the first word to your subject.
3) Allow office of the Ceo to resolve within 7 Days..

We are reasonably sure that your problem will be resolved by the office of the CEO.
See this as a lesson/procedure in resolving problems with large corporations, forums and Hello Peter do not resolve problems but create silly comments from the uninformed.

Just be careful with that ceo email address. One of my customers copied me in a mail when they escalated a issue to them and I was chewed out so badly over about 5 or 6 emails that I felt like a dog being beaten repeatedly with a stick.

Ockie- Yes we note your comments and we know which department reads the Ceo email. If the normal channels of communications do not function optimally then the "CEO Firewall" MUST TAKE THE HEAT after all that is the reason for their office/job. As paying customers/consumers we should/must hold these corporations accountable at all times.
