Hi,

Trying to find out from Telkom how long it will be before our area's VDSL roll out will be completed but no one can tell me.

Any idea how I can find out or how ling it generally takes would be really appreciated / Telkomza are you still around?

My current adsl is awful...

This VDSL from telkom was a waist of money. They should just go fiber to the home....FINISH AND KLAAR...

yea I wish, I even fall into the lightspeed "coverage map" that is they will roll out fiber if I can get R16k a month signup on my side of the street. There are only 8 houses...

VDSL is probably my best option, wireless data is too absurdly low or expensive.

I'm getting a stable 40mbit down and 3mbit up on my VDSL, I wouldn't exactly say its a waste of money - It's pretty good until fibre arrives if you ask me

What area ?

Some areas they just dropped the MSANs in the exchange and left it at that , so the people far from the exchange were in a worse position than before the MSANs .

Well, the entire thing is a waste of money, you don't need those cabinets for FTTH and all that man-power wasted.
Was one of the main arguments in Australia.

Valhalla Centurion, changed to VDSL rollout on the coverage map about a month or two ago.

MSAN can provide FTTH as well. (According to @MickeyD)
