VDSL router will not connect to another isp

Hi guys,

I have a strange issue.

Currently with afrihost but can't stand the poor streaming speeds at night so trying to switch to another ISP.

The issue is that my ZyXEL VDSL router will not connect to any other ISP only afrihost.

Anyone have an idea what would be the issue?

Strange, I have an ZyXEL and I can connect to all my ISP accounts. Vox, mtn, TI and even dodgy openweb
 
Maybe check whether the Afrihost account has that protection mode set that locks your account to your phone line. Might be that it also has the effect of blocking other accounts on the line.

Otherwise????

No not protected as have used the account else where.
 
OK so.. I left the other ISP details in and 10 min later it connected. I must have a setting incorrect some where as it can't take that long each time to change isp's..

Just confirm your VLAN settings under VDSL profile, It should be 0 and 835
I can send you my VDSL profile details as soon im home again.
