Any know about vefa computer
store in wynberg. I'm looking for a secondhand laptop and their prices seem quite good
 
There was a story somewhere on Facebook about this company and its owner. They didn't say good things!
 
If I had a choice between buying blessed holy water from a pop up Nigerian ecommerce site registered anonymously, and anything from Vefa Computers, I'd have gone the Holy water route.

But that's just me. And most people who've read this forum for a while and done their research...

It's a pity that the old threads about vefa have been deleted. But some searches about them will still bear fruit. And open anyone's eyes before going though with a purchase...

Well I did find an old thread from 2009 about vefa but I was being a little naive in thinking maybe things have changed. I'm just glad I didn't spend any money on their crap.

Don't know them, but used Universe Direct a few times, they sell refurbished NB's and they give warranty!
The notebooks they sell is ex-corporate notebooks, so in good condition ( 2-3years old) useally 3.
They are in Montague Gardens

Bought a laptop from them about 7 years ago, secondhand and it still works. Well besides the battery, so no bad news from me.

If memory serves me correctly, buying stuff from them is ok... its when you need them to fix something you've bought from them that it turns into a nightmare.
