Need some suggestions as to what to do about this company!
Firstly, they weren't my 1st choice, but they seem to be the only place that had this specific monitor in stock. And only after I bought it, did I see some threads on this company, here.
I bought a 17'' LCD (LG L1780Q) from them on the 20th July and sent though proof of payment. 10 Days later, still no monitor (I live in JHB). So, I phone them to find out what the problem is. According to them I never paid, so I sent through my proof of payment.. again. So I wait..
A week later I get a call from a certain Muhammed Dag (apparently the owner) telling me he's flying up to deliver the monitor himself, and because I waited so long I'll get a 19'' (same model). I tell him that if I wanted the 19'', I would have bought it. (I'm setting up a dual screen setup with a 17'' LG L1780Q I've already got, and I'm trying to get the exact same monitor as the 2nd screen; also don't have space for a bigger screen). So I wait..
A week later I receive a call (from the courier company) that the monitor is delivered but at the wrong address, so I'm running around in the office park (where I'm working) to find it. Finally I found it, but it's a 19'' LG-something. A model that is not even made anymore. So I phone and tell him this and he said he'll send the right one as soon as possible. Last week I phoned again and still I'm just getting the run-around.
So, I've decided to courier back this unused 19'' and ask for my money back, but now he has diverted his phone to one of the shops and I can't get hold of him. What should I do ? Get the cops involved ? The service from this place is horrible !!
