Vegetables, Herbs etc, do you even grow?

Our new place has a packed garden of beautiful plants so there isn't really room to start growing edibles, much as I'd like. So far we have some pretty great herb plants but nothing else - basil, coriander, thyme and oregano. I'll add some more soon but if I could I'd have all of the dirt edges of the garden producing vegetables - brinjals and chilies and parsnips and rutabaga and carrots and tomatoes and green beans and fennel and bell peppers etc.

Loving my garden at the moment. chives, coriander, basil, parsley, mint, oregano, thyme, onions, strawberries and then a bucket load of spinach. Will be moving on to potatoes and blue berries next.

Worst mistake of mine was to grow rocket. It's like a weed and now sprouts up everwhere! Other than that I have chillies, couple tomato plants, rosemary, sage, basil and mint.

Well my butternut plants seem to have taken the transplant quite well. Standing strong and growing well, need to weed a it though as there are still pieces of grass etc in the soil and even the odd small flower decided to open today.

I made that mistake last year too :). I used it quite a lot so I need to find a way to isolate it from everything else. Maybe a pot at the paved are at the back of the house.

Pumpkin, Carrots, Mint, Thyme, Spring Onion, Corriander, Tomatoes, Curry Leaves.

I'd take a curry bush. Planted some chillis but a proper curry plant or even bayleaf doesn't seem to grow well ( based on my old mans experience trying to cultivate them years ago )

Both are actually pretty easy to grow. Maybe give it a try again.

:D you've got to have a curry leave tree eske!

The way they spread you normally end up with several :D
