Make sure u compare the excesses as well....

Naked allows you to set your own excess within a fixed scale which affects the premium.

My chosen excess is R500 more than had I gone through either of the brokers. If I drop the excess to below that of the brokers, the premium is still lower.

In this day and age u shouldn't limit yourself to local brokers though. I have done most of my recent renewal discussions via Teams.

Why does everyone recommend a broker ? Did the exercise a few years ago and was cheaper doing it personally through King Price ? Had a fight here or there (mainly claiming back my excess) and the increase after the claim but was revised a few months later.
