We live in a country filled with idiot car owners and unscrupulous mechanics. The standard plans are as much for owners' protection as for the manufacturers'. That's the way products are presented locally; you are under no obligation to purchase any new vehicle. Deal with it.

I never took their plan but they are the official supplier of service plans for Triumph Motorcycles.
So not a fly by night if that's what you are worried about.
I wouldnt say so. The N14 (2007-2009) engine has a number of very well known issues including timing chain tensioner and super knocking. This is what eventually led to its untimely death.
