Vehicle Registration Certificate copy

Hi

I went to Watloo today to try and get a copy for my Vehicle registration certificate / Natis document but it takes 10 working days.

Does anybody know if there is a way / place to get it quicker? The vehicle is on my name.

well if your vehicle is insured they should have a copy as you normally have to give them one when you insure it ? Well I did at least...

i got mine from my finance house ( wesbank) , online, took about 5 mintues to email it to me

The problem is I did not finance the car.

Trying the insurance to see if they have it maybe

If the car is freehold (in your name) you are the only one with the original - otherwise you are looking at R500 and 10 working days - no exceptions....

The problem is, I don't think I ever got the original from the dealership I bought it from 4 years ago, but it's been so long I won't make wild accusations, they probably did send it to me and it got chucked accidently.

Luckily the dealership I am buying a new car with is accommodating.
