if its just tyres u need, why u getting new mags as well?
rather spend the money on better tyres...
Oh gawd! Here we have a bloody accountant! I suppose you only buy a car because it can take you from A to B as well!![]()
lol
not an accountant, ill just spen more on getting better tyres
rims are nice, but not at the cost of cheaper tyres
ps: my car will betting new rims as soon as i can afford the tyres to go with it
Thing is, Velocity are actually very good tyres - but it's the same old thing where certain people will only buy BMW or Mercedes because of their perceived value, whilst there are perfectly good other makes out there that are more than good enough for them.
ill be getting hankooks
You get what you pay for!
Some aspect of the Velocity tyre won't be as good as a higher priced tyre( Wet handling? Lateral control? ), but on the upside the Velocity's may last longer due to a harder rubber compound.
I never had any problems with wet weather handling with my Velocity tyres, and I was able to use them when I drove in the Tar Stage event in Gauteng. Anyone who thinks he's getting poor value for money is simply bluffing himself to justify the extra cost of some imported tyre.
I didn't mention imported tyres? Locally made Firestone Firehawk's are decent tyres! I would pick those over Velocity tyres any day.
You won't go wrong with Velocities.
TWT wouldn't back them if they were no good, and I have personally had 3 sets of Velocity and they have all been excellent.
